Reagan is in his 1st season with the Thunder as Head Coach following 5 seasons as an assistant with the program.
Reagan brings a solid playing resume to the Thunder. Reagan attended perennial high school power Harry Ainlay and played for the 1999 and 2000 Provincial Championships as well as serving as Team Captain his senior year. Reagan played in the Basketball Alberta program for 2 years and helped the Edmonton team to an undefeated summer and to a Gold Medal at the 1997 Alberta Summer Games. Reagan was the MVP of the Jr Varsity All Star game in 1998.
Also a decorated football player, as a Quarterback Reagan lead the Edmonton Public league in passing for 3 years, received an offensive MVP award at BYU summer training and a 2nd team All-Western Canada selection, drawing recruiting attention both north and south of the border. Reagan pursued a post secondary playing career in football which was shortened by several injuries.
Reagan has been involved as a coach since age 16, from community league to high school as well as a season with the Edmonton Energy. In his 5 years as a Thunder Assistant, Reagan has helped the team to a combined 73-39 league and playoff record highlighted by a #4 national ranking and an ACAC Silver Medal in 2009.
