Kings University has had experienced more cases of gastro and influenza type illnesses recently, while new cases are on a decline there we should take some precautions to reduce the chance of it happening here. Custodial Services will be increasing high touch surface sanitizing and thorough hand washing is one of the best prevention we can all take. Please wash your hands before you eat, after using the washroom and before you are touching food. If you are experiencing nausea, abdominal cramps, headache, low-grade fever, muscle aches you may have a gastro illness and should stay home. People remain contagious typically 48 hours after feeling healthy again. http://myhealth.alberta.ca/health/pages/conditions.aspx?Hwid=ug2076
